National Licence Lists

Where each country publishes its own amateur licences, and what you can expect to find there.

How to Use This Page

Every entry goes to the country’s own register. OneShack does not copy anybody’s licence data onto this site: a register’s own page is always more current than a copy, and most of them say nothing about reuse. For a callsign anywhere in the world, our Callsign Lookup will tell you the country, the zones and the local time from the prefix alone.

United States

Every amateur licence, searchable by callsign, name or location. This is the same public record behind our own callsign lookup and Meet a Ham.

FCC Universal Licensing System →

A work of the US Government, in the public domain.

Canada

Amateur callsign search by callsign, surname, city or province, run by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada.

ISED Amateur Search →

Public search. The download carries no licence statement, so OneShack links to it and holds none of the data.

Australia

The Register of Radiocommunications Licences, which includes amateur licences. Searchable by licence, client or site, with a full CSV download and an API.

ACMA Register of Radiocommunications Licences →

ACMA website content is made available under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence (checked 25 September 2026).

New Zealand

What licence you need to operate in New Zealand, and the public Register of Radio Frequencies, which holds the licences and spectrum rights that Radio Spectrum Management issues.

RSM amateur radio operator licensing → · Register of Radio Frequencies →

Public pages. The register describes itself as a public online register.

Why the List Is Short

A country is on this page only when its register was opened and read on 25 September 2026 and found to be public. Several national regulators either publish no amateur register at all, or their sites could not be read from here — Germany’s Bundesnetzagentur refused the request outright. Rather than list a dozen links nobody has checked, this page carries the ones that were. Tell us about a register we have missed and we will check it and add it.
